About
Twenty years of senior finance and commercial work, put to use directly.
For twenty years I held senior finance and commercial roles in market-leading corporates, across South Africa, Mauritius, and international markets.
I’m a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with an LLB, with a background spanning corporate finance, cross-border structuring, transfer pricing, and the systems that hold them together.
Herculas takes on advisory engagements for owner-led and privately held businesses, where the financial decisions are consequential and the margin for error is thin. The practice is deliberately small and deliberately hands-on. The person advising is the person building.
It’s based in Mauritius, where I’m resident and lead the work directly.
Capability
Capital structure, funding, capital allocation, and the commercial thinking that sits behind them.
Multi-jurisdiction structures, transfer pricing, international tax, and the exchange control questions that come with them.
Currency exposure and hedging, funding of foreign operations, and how cash actually moves through a group.
ERP selection and implementation, consolidation and reporting systems, and turning scattered data into something a decision can rest on.
Board and committee structures, King IV and V, internal audit, information security, and data protection.
Models, dashboards, reporting tools, and automation — built and implemented, not specified for someone else.
Ventures
Two ventures, both in places where financial infrastructure has been left underbuilt or invisible.
A cross-border payments corridor — the kind of infrastructure that is quietly essential, moves real value, and is rarely built well.

www.kairosintel.co.zaThe conviction behind it
Financial infrastructure is rarely the constraint people assume it is, and far more often the advantage they have overlooked. What businesses need is to see clearly, decide well, and move with confidence.
That’s the whole basis of the practice, and the reason it pairs advice with building rather than stopping at the recommendation.
Every engagement starts with a conversation about what’s actually going wrong.
